Uh. I hate profiles. How do I describe myself? I’m a creative, passionate, burning with ambition, wordsmithy, cornily-comic, self-proclaimed brilliant, independent, obsessively-organized, deep (for a blonde) and highly intelligent (eh-hem) introverted-extrovert. (Maybe I’ll add more later.)
I am self-employed (if you can be self-employed with out making a dime yet) in the fabulous field of freelance copywriting. <<UPDATE: Ha! I’m making dimes now, baby!>> I have over five years of experience in editorial writing and copywriting everything from newsletters and brochures to ads and web site copy and I specialize in being the “fairy godmother of copy”–with a wave of my pen, dull, boring copy becomes a clean, clear, vibrant message. And all before the clock strikes midnight! (You like that, don’t ya?)
I’m the better half of a long-term commitment between myself, Michael, our two dogs and two cats and I live in the most perfect and beautiful and modest home I could ever ask for.
I’ve started “Note to Self” because lately my memory has been royally sucking. I can’t remember the memories I shouldn’t have lost and some I don’t even remember losing….My mind is fragmenting. A virus is migrating across my brain, infecting my past. A storm is billowing in my head and tiny bits and pieces of information are slowly disappearing in a thick, black fog….or maybe I’m just getting older and developing the attention span of a gnat like everybody else in today’s world. And so I began “Note to Self” to keep track of my thoughts and writings so I’ll never forget. And, of course, to share them with you, too.
So that’s me in a nutshell–take it or leave it.
I love your site. Keep it up !
